The Pirates! Band of Misfits

In The Pirates! Band of Misfits, Hugh Grant stars in his first animated role as the luxuriantly bearded Pirate Captain, a boundlessly enthusiastic (if somewhat less-than-successful) terror of the high seas.
With a rag-tag crew at his side, and seemingly blind to the impossible odds stacked against him, the Captain has one dream: to beat his bitter rivals Black Bellamy (Jeremy Piven) and Cutlass Liz (Salma Hayek) to the much-coveted Pirate Of The Year Award.  It’s a quest that takes them from the shores of exotic Blood Island to the foggy streets of Victorian London. Along the way they battle a diabolical queen (Imelda Staunton) and team up with a haplessly smitten young scientist (David Tennant), but never lose sight of what a pirate loves best: adventure.

The screenplay is by Gideon Defoe, based upon his book, Pirates in an Adventure with Scientists.

Think Like a Man

Based on the best-selling book Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man by Steve Harvey, Think Like a Man follows four interconnected and diverse men whose love lives are shaken up after the ladies they are pursuing buy Harvey’s book and start taking his advice to heart.

When the band of brothers realize they have been betrayed by one of their own, they conspire using the book’s insider information to turn the tables and teach the women a lesson of their own. The movie is directed by Tim Story and written by Keith Merryman and David A. Newman.

To The Arctic 3D

An extraordinary journey to the top of the world, the documentary adventure To The Arctic 3D tells the ultimate tale of survival. Narrated by Oscar winner Meryl Streep, the film takes audiences on a journey into the lives of a mother polar bear and her twin 7-month-old cubs as they navigate the changing Arctic wilderness. The footage brings moviegoers up close and personal with this family’s struggle to survive in a frigid environment of melting ice, immense glaciers, spectacular waterfalls, and majestic snowbound peaks. To The Arctic is written and edited by Stephen Judson (Everest), and produced by Shaun MacGillivray (Grand Canyon Adventure: River at Risk). The musical score includes songs by Paul McCartney.
