Annual Snohomish County Community Prayer Breakfast

April 6, 6:45–8:30am. More than 600 community members and business/religious leaders are expected to gather for the 52nd annual Good Friday Prayer Breakfast sponsored by the YMCA of Snohomish County. The prayer breakfast is a community event designed to bring the community together in a nondenominational setting. 2000 Hewitt Ave, Everett. 425-374-5712.


Edmonds Egg Hunt

April 7, 10am. The Easter Bunny is coming to Edmonds. Kids up to age 10 are invited to fill their baskets and hunt for golden eggs to win special prizes. The event is free, but please bring a nonperishable donation for the food bank and an Easter basket. Bring your camera and take pictures with the Easter Bunny and the fire engine. Easter Basket Enrichment for the Animals
April 7, 10am–2:30pm. Gorillas, elephants, grizzlies and more nibble on Easter baskets lined with flowers, berries and other favorite treats. The special treats are part of the zookeepers’ ongoing efforts to help enrich the lives of the zoo’s animals, promote natural animal behavior, keep animals mentally stimulated and engage zoo visitors. Spring Egg Hunt
April 7, 10am. Celebrate the coming of spring with an egg hunt designed for kids ages 1 to 11. Bring your own bag or basket. The egg hunt will take place rain or shine. Ravenna-Eckstein Community Center, 6535 Ravenna Ave NE, Seattle. 206-684-7529.

Hop, skip and jump to Woodland Park Zoo for the annual Bunny Bounce, featuring egg hunts for children ages 1–8 years, crafts, bunny encounters and zoo programs throughout the day. Hop Around the Village With the Easter Bunny
April 7, 11am–3pm. Come visit the Easter Bunny while he hops around Country Village with candy-filled Easter eggs for children. Join him throughout the day for fun and games, story time, and a special craft project. Don’t miss the egg decorating contest and cast a vote for your favorite. Eggstravaganza Egg Hunt
April 7, 10:30am. This annual free egg hunt for 1-year-olds through 5th-graders will kickoff with face painting, balloon animals, music and a visit with the Easter Bunny.  Each age-appropriate egg hunt will have special prizes hidden among the multitude of eggs, as well as lots of candy. The egg hunt will be held rain or shine, and don’t forget to bring a basket. Please bring a non-perishable food item to help support the food bank.
